COMMON QUERIES

WHAT IS ART THERAPY?

Art Therapy (or Art Psychotherapy) is the combination of art making; the tactile use of materials, and different mindful processes alongside psycho-dynamical psychotherapy theories, techniques and psychological thinking and framework. It’s another way to make sense of the world around us; inner and outer, along with encouraging emotional and physical expressions which could lead to self-empowerment; positive engagement and gaining a greater insight to your own mental health.

HOW DO I GET IN CONTACT?

The best way to get in contact with us is through the contact form right here on our website. You can expect a reply with 2 working days but it is normally faster than this. If you wish to call us, you can also get our phone number on our contact page right here.

DO YOU OFFER TASTER SESSIONS?

Before you commit to entering into our service, we'll invite you for a taster session with your would-be therapist. This session will be free of charge, last 15 minutes and will give you a chance to decide if we're the right fit. You'll be welcome to end this session at any-time and you won't have to make your decision at the end of the session, you can do this in your own time.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING AGAINST COVID-19?

We are closely monitoring the current government guidelines and restrictions. Masks are mandatory during sessions unless the client is exempt or it would cause distress. Our therapy spaces are cleaned using chemicals proven to be effective against covid-19 between sessions. Clients are encouraged to use hand sanitiser upon entering and exiting the space and are advised not to come to sessions if they are experiencing any symptoms.
